SHT: Crosby-Manitou State Park to Lake County 7
We went back to the SHT again last weekend for Crimson’s first birthday and explored Egge and Sonju Lakes! We upped our mileage and our little hiking dog did wonderfully. It was a beautiful hike cut short by some rain on Sunday, but well worth the trip!
SHT: Cascade River State Park to Caribou Trail
Crimson’s SHT debut is in the books! It was a great family weekend hiking through the woods with some beautiful views and an awesome campsite right on a creek!
Utah’s Mighty Five
We took on Utah’s Mighty Five for spring break this year - it was a whirlwind trip through Zion, Capitol Reef, Arches, Canyonlands, and Bryce Canyon National Parks! Each park was amazing and unique in its own way, and we can’t wait to make it back again someday.
Big Bend National Park
We took a break from cold, snowy Minnesota and traveled to Texas for a long weekend in Big Bend National Park! It was such a unique park and unlike any place we have ever been, and we’re so excited to tell you all about it.
Tettegouche State Park
We introduced Emily to our favorite place in Minnesota, the North Shore! We spent a long weekend car camping and day hiking out of Tettegouche State Park. It was a great time to get up there and experience the fall colors!
