Exploring Mistake Lake

Wind River Range

We celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary with a backpacking trip to Wyoming’s Wind River Range – a place that has been on our bucket list for quite some time. Needless to say, it did not disappoint and we are already planning our next trip to the Winds!

We did it!

Medicine Bow National Forest - Snowy Range

What started out as a back-up plan when the Boundary Waters closed due to wildfires turned into one of our favorite trips of all time! We spent six days backpacking in the wilderness of the Snowy Range Mountains in Medicine Bow National Forest with great friends (and pups!)

BWCAW 2020

We went back out to the boundary waters for the second year in a row, this time in the Ely area and with Al and Lindsey along for the adventure! It was a great time with great friends, and we can’t wait to go back again next year.

Timber-Frear Canoe Route

We decided to try something a little different than our usual north shore backpacking weekend, and opted for this loop paddle route!

One last look back

Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness

Our first ever trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW)! We had a bit of a bumpy start with some rough water, but things turned the corner and it was a great time with great friends. We can’t wait to tell you all about it!
